In the fourth installment to this amazing saga, Rick Riordan causes you to sit on the edge of your seat in anticipation. The book starts with Percy Jackson attending his freshman orientation. After getting kicked out of too many schools, he never thought this day would arrive. But thanks to his mom’s friend, Paul who works at Goode High School, he’s got a chance and he’s determined to not screw it up. Some demon cheerleaders seem to think differently though. Just as he thinks that his day can not get any weirder, he spots an old acquaintance. By acquaintance, I mean a civilian that he almost stabbed. He sees none other than, Rachel Elizabeth Dare, at his high school orientation. To make matters worse, she recognizes him too. After he leaps through a broken window out of a flaming building, all his afternoon plans with Annabeth dissolve into dust and they run to Camp - Half-Blood. 


“One thing that I love about this book is that it brings mythical tales into real life. We meet Daedalus and his creations in the book and I absolutely love it. We also get more Nico di Angelo content in this book. We also find out more about Rachel and her ability to see through the Mist. We learn so much more during our hero’s next quest. This book is really good and I recommend the entire series.

  Chapter 4: Scarlet’s POV:  For two people, who have only flown a ship in flight simulations, these two are pretty good. All of us are strapped to our seats but it isn’t necessary. Nithya and Shravya were flying smoothly and so far so good. We can still use our phones and laptops, but not to text or make calls, so I pull my laptop out of my bag and set it out on the white food tray/desk.  Next to me was Rani, who pulled out a book and was reading. I got an immediate headache if I tried to read in motion. Speaking of which, Jay wasn’t looking so good.  Nate, also noticing this, reached into his bag and brought out an orange pill bottle. It's a shorter one this time.  Chapter 5: Jay’s POV:       ‘Could you help me with this?’ My gaze drifted from the game I was watching, and went towards Jerry, who had a number of tools in his hands.  ‘Hm? Sure, what do you need?’ I said, getting up and walking towards him. We were in our dorm and Nate was out with Nithya and Shravya. They have been working hard for the past two days to find the leeway. With no avail, they let the rest of us do whatever we wanted today.  Jerry and I already finished unpacking, but he still didn’t get all of his tools and gadgets to the workroom.
